Below are a number of documents we use daily on relocations, our bonding & arbitration information and some additional helpful information straight from the FMCSA & USDOT. At the bottom of the page are downloadable versions of each document shown.
The liability waiver is for any abnormal requests that could possibly damage your/our property, or put ourselves or you in any danger. This also includes the moving of any particle board or engineered wooden items. These are typically meant to be put together and stay. They often don't move easily and if dismantled cannot be put back together accordingly.
If there are any items that you know have obvious damage done to them (ie: scratches, broken / loose pieces of furniture, chipped) we will go through and annotate them prior to the move to insure transparency across the board.
The New York State tariffs are what we have published through the NYS Department Of Transportation and are what we abide by unless we discuss drawing up a written binding estimate. There is a lot of information in that tariffs package that we can go over but closer to the end of the document is a breakdown of what we charge on an hourly basis.
The Ready to Move brochure has been compiled by the FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration). This just outlines the responsibilities of each party and gives some insight into FAQ's on moving day!
The FMCSA packet is a more in-depth look into the rights and responsibilities when you're moving. It literally goes through what you should expect from your mover and what you should prepare for as well. It also outlines some of the basic terminology to help our customers gain more insight.
This acts as a financial guarantee that PACS Elite will fulfill its contractual obligations, protecting our clients from potential losses. We promise to always deliver on every service we have available. This helps enhance our company's reputation by demonstrating reliability and trustworthiness to our loyal customers.
An arbitration company provides a service where a neutral third party, called an arbitrator, hears both sides of a dispute between two parties and makes a final and binding decision on the matter. Essentially, it facilitates out-of-court dispute resolution through an impartial arbitrator. "Stuff" happens, but we make sure it's always taken care of, and always to our customer's satisfaction.
This lovely bit of visually stimulating information about our company is solely for your viewing pleasure. We have covered all information in its entirety throughout the website. But, it's pretty. So, look at it!
Please feel free to reach out with any questions about any of these documents.
